Our year 2 student Isabella Smith and her father Chris Lockley has been absolutely incredible in her efforts to fundraise for Grenfell Tower people. Isabella and her friend Sienna (who attends the local Italian school) set up a stall last Friday on Portobello Road, they sold home made Lemonade, Ice Tea, kids beauty accessories (donated by Fashionette) and they also did Glitter Tattoo Art. They spoke out loud to passers by, telling them what they are raising money for. They worked from 3.30pm – to 10.30pm at night and raised an incredible £1,000! The money raised will go directly to the re-building of the Grenfell nursery which was once on the ground floor of the building.
Cañada Blanch community and the whole local area are super proud to highlight such an amazing student representing our school.
